Everton O’Leary, 20 years old Currently signed to Auckland FC where he plays for the reserve team. Everton started his career at Birkenhead United and is currently playing his senior football at the same club. Having made his men’s senior debut at 16, Everton has a wealth of knowledge and experience despite his age. At the school level, Everton played for Rosmini College where he won the College Sports Footballer of the Year award in 2022.
Everton has a wide range of coaching experience too, having been in charge of Birkenhead United’s U15 TDP team for the past two years, as well as coaching kids from ages 8 to 12 in his first year out of school, Everton went to Argentina to represent New Zealand at the FIFA U20 World Cup where they advanced to the round of 16 stages. Just coming off of a stint at Auckland United in the national league too, Everton is eager to share his knowledge and experience on the football pitch
