About Riley
Riley is an experienced player and passionate coach who is excited to join the Coach Monty team. She has played for the Birkenhead Women’s First Team for the past two years and currently captains the Carmel College First XI, where she has been a key player for three years. Her playing career also includes time with Northern Rovers and Waitākere FC.
Beyond the pitch, Riley has embraced leadership roles as a coach, guiding several school teams at Carmel College. Her coaching experience includes the AIMS Games football team as well as multiple touch rugby teams, where she has inspired younger athletes with her knowledge and enthusiasm.
Riley has also proudly represented the North Island as part of the Aotearoa Māori football team—an achievement that reflects both her skill and her cultural pride.
She brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a deep love for the game to everything she does, and she’s looking forward to contributing to the development of young players with the Coach Monty team.
