Coach Rene Wasi
At 24 years old, I am a passionate footballer and coach with over a decade of experience competing at representative, national, and premier levels. My journey has taken me from age-group representative football with Northern Football Federation to competing in New Zealand's Women's Premier League, while also representing the country internationally in the Cook Islands for the U19 Women's World Cup Qualifiers.
Throughout my playing career, I have been fortunate to achieve success at national tournaments, earn individual honours such as the Golden Boot, and compete in high-performance environments that have shaped my understanding of the game. These experiences have helped me develop strong leadership, resilience, and a deep appreciation for what it takes to continually improve.
As a coach, my goal is to create a positive, enjoyable, and challenging environment where every player feels valued. I believe football should be fun while also teaching discipline, confidence, and teamwork

Represented Northern Football Federation at National Age Group Tournaments (U14, U16, U17).
Represented Northern Football Federation at an international tournament in Sydney.
Golden Boot winner at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Nationals (14 goals).
New Zealand U17 National Champion with Forest Hill Milford United AFC.
New Zealand U17 National Runner-up.
Represented the country in Cook Islands for the FIFA U19 Women's World Cup Qualifiers.
